The Grand Union of Innovation Service Platform Co Ltd, a company based in Hefei – capital of East China's Anhui province – signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Association of Chinese Scholars and Engineers in the Netherlands, or the VCWI on Nov 18.
The signing ceremony was held during the 13th VCWI Talent Forum and the Inauguration Ceremony of the VCWI Biotechnology Community, which took place at the Rotterdam School of Management of Erasmus University.
Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in technology, culture and commerce and trade exchanges between local enterprises, research institutions and scientific and technological talent. They will enhance interaction and communications and expand cooperation areas.
Wu Hailong, chairman of the Grand Union of Innovation Service Platform Co Ltd, described the location and industrial advantages of the Grand Union of Innovation at the ceremony. He also talked about the cooperation opportunities in promoting investment and trade facilitation, enhancing financial service functions, promoting high-quality economic development and optimizing policies for attracting and gathering talent.
The VCWI, founded in 1997, is an independent, non-political and non-profit legal association group officially registered in the Netherlands.
It gathers elite Chinese talent in various fields such as semiconductors, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing and artificial intelligence in the Netherlands.
It has more than 1,000 members active in research institutions, universities, industry and government organizations in the Netherlands, of whom 72 percent have master's degrees and 33 percent have doctoral degrees.
