Updated: 2016-12-19
The program headed by Yue Qianhou (pictured), Shanxi University’s professor working at the school’s Modern Chinese History Institute, has received financial support totaling 700 thousand yuan ($100.6 thousand) from the country’s Education Ministry. This accomplishment marks a significant step forward for the institute’s research around this subject. Yue’s program studies the collected literature concerning the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1937-45) throughout the Taihang and Lvliang mountain regions. A total of 47 philosophy and social science research projects were submitted and funded as key projects in 2016 all over the country. [Photo from sxu.edu.cn] |
