Shanxi University’s Crystal Materials Research Institute recently published some significant findings in ACS Nano.

ACS Nano is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal first published in 2007 by the American Chemical Society. The journal publishes original articles on nanoscience and nanotechnology written by distinguished researchers at the intersection of chemistry, biology, materials science, physics, and engineering.

Fan Xiujun, a doctor of SXU’s research institute, served as lead author of the research paper. Co-authors included professors from Rice University in the United States, the Beijing University of Technology and California Institute of Technology.

Experts and scholars involved in the study contributed joint efforts to work out the electrocatalytic properties of Mo2C, a nanocrystal with a mean grain size of 7.5 nm.
