Caroline Feeley, international partnerships manager from the International Office at Loughborough University, visited Shanxi University (SXU) on March 8 to promote the exchange program between the two sides.

She met with officials from the administration departments and the deans of several science colleges, such as the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and discussed academic cooperation, exchange visits, and furthering cooperation and communication between Loughborough University and the science colleges of Shanxi University.

Feeley also introduced international study programs offered by Loughborough University to students at a briefing, explaining requirements and procedures for various study options. She hoped that the collaboration platform between the two universities will offer students at Shanxi University more opportunities for further education abroad.

Founded in 1009, the UK's Loughborough University is among the best in the world and specializes in a range of disciplines, from sports science to engineering, business and the arts.
