SXU student awarded by CCF

Liu Jianmin, an undergraduate student from the School of Computer and Information Technology of Shanxi University won the “Elite Collegiate Award” at a ceremony held by China Computer Federation (CCF), on Oct 26.
A total of 104 students from some 50 universities and colleges shared the prize. All the winners can attend the 2017 China National Computer Conference and listen to lectures delivered by notable scholars and experts on the latest developments in computer science.
Liu published a thesis in an academic journal and applied for two patents for invention and three patents for utility models, as well as registering several software copyrights.
The China Computer Federation, a national-level academic association in computer science, was founded in 1962. The “Elite Collegiate Award” was established in 2012 by CCF, with the aim of selecting excellent students in computer science or relevant majors among undergraduates at China’s universities and colleges. So far, six students from Shanxi University have won the award.
