Shanxi University and Beijing Universal Education Group signed a strategic partnership agreement at the university campus on Oct 13. 

Zhang Tiancai, vice-president of the university and Zhang Rui, chairman of the group, approved the agreement on behalf of both sides.

Zhang Rui praised the quality of training and innovation, as well as the entrepreneurship education, being conducted at Shanxi University.

He said he was looking forward to building a new platform for exchanges, communications and cooperation between both parties through the partnership. 

He hoped it would expand cooperation in undergraduate education in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship and in teacher training.

Zhang said he also looked to joint ventures between industrial colleges and institutes, the organization of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions -- as well as the establishment of a university innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration base.

After the signing ceremony, Zhang Rui presented an academic report to the students, explaining the classifications and grading of current occupations and the steps that could be taken to improve personal creativity.
