The three social scientific achievements of Shanxi University (SXU) were included in the recently published Collection of Excellent Achievements of NSFC Projects (Part I).

The compilation book is the first time that the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences has conducted a centralized selection and introduction of the outstanding achievements of the National Social Science Fund's annual projects.

A total of 166 out of 450 excellent achievements identified by the National Social Science Fund in 2017 and 2018 were selected for the book, which has been published for philosophy and social science theoretical workers, experts and scholars to learn from. The achievements involve 21 first-level disciplines and focus on basic theoretical research.

The three achievements of Shanxi University are the philosophy and social science research of the context theory, research on legal issues in village governance in Shanxi during the early Republic of China period (1912-49) and research on Zhuangzi's Philosophy.

In recent years, Shanxi University has achieved remarkable results in research on philosophy and social sciences.
