Introduction of the University of Bristol

The University of Bristol was founded in 1876 and is located in Bristol, the biggest city in southwestern England. It’s one of the six famous red-brick universities in the United Kingdom and a member of the Worldwide Universities Network and the European University Association.

The university ranked 58th in the QS World Universities Rankings 2021.

It has cultivated 13 Nobel Prize winners and has always been at the forefront of global research and teaching.

In a survey of the graduate employment market by the British professional employment consulting agency High Fliers Research, the university ranked fourth among the most popular universities in the UK by employers.

Shanxi University and the University of Bristol signed an inter-university cooperation and exchange agreement. Students who have completed three years of study at Shanxi University can apply for one-year undergraduate study at the University of Bristol.
