The mid-lake islands of Gongshan are located in a corner of Taihu Lake in Zhenhu sub-district, Suzhou New District.
The two islands, one big and one small, are believed to be the embodiments of a turtle and a dragon. A bridge has been built to connect the two islands, which have barely been developed.
On the islands, there are only a few buildings hiding in the greenery that welcome visiting travelers who have come here to have a good time in a place that has been described as paradise on earth.
