Suzhou Bearing Factory Co, a leading manufacturer based in Suzhou New District, was one of the first 81 companies to be allowed to trade on the Beijing Stock Exchange, which launched on Nov 15 targeting innovation-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises.
On the same day, SND hosted a listing ceremony for the first four BSE-listed companies in Suzhou, as well as the unveiling ceremony of a BSE service base in Jiangsu province.
Zhu Zhihao, chairman of Suzhou Bearing Factory Co, said that the company will strive to make innovations in its systems and processes, attract more outstanding talents, increase investment in R&D and technological transformation, as well as steadily enter the high-end market.
With a history of more than 60 years, Suzhou Bearing Factory Co has focused on the research and manufacturing of needle roller bearings and rolling bodies. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a provincial "little giant" enterprise with 36 patents. It also possesses one overseas subsidiary and one joint venture.
SND has been striving to improve its business environment and to support the listing of local companies. In addition to setting up an association for listed companies this year, the district has also seen the total number of local listed companies increasing to 23. There are currently 2,241 national small and medium-sized technology-based enterprises, 268 gazelle companies, 25 unicorns-to-be companies, as well as 23 companies listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations.
