ARTICLE 1 / Purposes and Basis

In order to further promote the functional development of Weifang National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone , support and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and promote the concentrated development of modern service industries, these opinions are formulated in accordance with the Key Supporting Catalogue of Development of Weifang National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the Measures on Management of Special Development Funds in Weifang National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and its implementation rules.

ARTICLE 2 / Introduce High-end Personnel from Home and Abroad

For newly-introduced top talents with first-class level in their fields who are able to create great economic and social benefits and lead the district's innovative development, supportive funds worth ranging from 2.5 to 10 million yuan will be rewarded by the financial department of local government.

ARTICLE 3 / Introduce National and Provincial High-end Personnel

For newly-introduced experts belonging to the category of China's 1,000 Talents Plan or the "Taishan Industrial Leading Talents" of Shandong province, and those newly-selected to the categories, supportive funds worth 1 million yuan or 500,000 yuan will be rewarded by the financial department of local government.

For talents newly-selected to the category of Weifang city's "Yuandu Industrial Leading Talents", supportive funds worth 500,000 yuan will be rewarded by the financial department of local government.
