The representative office in Xiamen will take advantage of its location inside the China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone to showcase Taiwan tea art and culture, facilitate cross-Straits tea exchanges and cooperation, and promote Chinese tea culture to the world, according to Zhang Fuqin, president of the association.

The office's first major exchange is scheduled to be a trip to Europe in October to take part in the Maritime Silk Road Culture Exhibition, where it will arrange an eye-catching display of Eastern tea furniture.
