Two hundred buses from the Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co will be exported to Sierra Leone following the signing of a deal between the two in Xiamen, Fujian province on Aug 30.

"We've been looking for a partner for the last five months," Kabineh Kallon, Sierra Leone's Minister for Transport said at the signing ceremony. "After researching thoroughly, we chose Golden Dragon for their high quality and considerate service."

Founded in 1988, Golden Dragon develops, manufactures and markets medium to large buses and light vans. As China's top passenger car exporter, the company has sold over 60,000 vehicles to 167 countries and regions.

Sierra Leone's newly purchased buses will help ease congestion in the country's capital, Freetown, and its surrounding areas. A group of professional service staff will be dispatched from China to help train local maintenance men.
