Xiamen hosts cross-border e-commerce training online

The 2022 BRICS Online Training for Global Cross-border Ecommerce Personnel took place from 7 pm to 10:30 pm on July 13 Beijing time.

The event was jointly hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Fujian Province, the Office of Xiamen Leading Group for BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center, the science, technology and innovation department of Brazil's Mato Grosso State, and the foreign affairs office of Xiamen in Fujian province.

The organizers invited cross-border e-commerce expert Luo Jiaying to deliver a training for using the AliExpress platform, a China-based business-to-customer website which operates in 230 economies.

During the session, Luo explained the basic operating skills for the platform, including account registration, fees, policies and promotions, as well as processes before, during and after sales.

The training attracted a total of 119,000 viewers from 14 countries – BRICS countries, the United States, Colombia, Argentina, Singapore, Sweden, Greece, France, Belarus, and Seychelles.

Another two free trainings for the Shopee and Amazon platforms will be held on July 20 and 27, respectively.
