Maldivian President visits Xiamen
Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu visited Xiamen city on Jan 8.
Cui Yonghui, secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by President Muizzu.
Cui introduced Xiamen's economic and social performance. He said that Xiamen is making every effort to become a fulcrum city in China's new development paradigm and is promoting its all-round opening-up to a higher level.
He added that Xiamen is ready to join hands with the Maldives to scale up cooperation in trade, investment, cultural tourism and other fields.
The delegation visited the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Dongdu Port area and Xiamen International Cruise Terminal during their stay in Xiamen.
