Inspur Cloud releases strategy to boost sales

Inspur Cloud announced its new sales strategy in Beijing on Aug 28. The company expects to realize a target sales revenue of 20 billion yuan ($3.06 billion) by 2020.

A subsidiary of China's largest server manufacturer Inspur Group, Inspur Cloud has the ambition of becoming the world's leading cloud service provider.

The new strategy will see the company deploy five overseas cloud centers—Seattle and Columbia in the US, Frankfurt in Germany, Moscow in Russia and Ethiopia—to provide cloud data services abroad.

According to Wang Hongtian, chief executive officer of Inspur Group, a fast increasing number of enterprises have a demand for cloud services. Inspur Cloud will providing cloud services to targeted enterprises and help them transform to digital enterprises.

In the next five years, Inspur Cloud has planned to invest 10 billion yuan to expand its market in overseas countries.

The cloud service provider also announced that it would seek cooperation with approximately 3,000 business partners, enriching its application service products to provide better services to governments and enterprises.
