Zhongguancun held an industrial summit on integration of culture and scientific technology and promotion of cultural innovation projects on Dec 27.

Themed on "Innovation leads development, Integration creates the future", the summit is one of Zhongguancun's most influential industrial promotion events.

The summit invited eight guests including government leaders, industrial experts, and company and investment institute representatives to discuss innovation and integration of Zhongguancun enterprises in the new era.

Topics included how to promote the integrated development of the cultural industry and related industries, how to realize society's potential for innovation and entrepreneurship, and how to build Zhongguancun into a demonstrative highland of the culture industry.

As a highlight of the summit, the promotional conference gathered seven Zhongguancun-based companies including the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhongguancun I-M-Way. High-end innovative projects in the fields of internet plus, artificial intelligence, animation production, equipment manufacturing, virtual reality and science popularization were all spotlighted.

Known as China's Silicon Valley, Zhongguancun was focused on promoting Beijing's digital culture industry throughout the event.

Relying on its innovation ability and technical strength, Zhongguancun will construct a world-class digital culture industry communication platform with Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook, and Li Yanhong, co-founder of the search engine Baidu, having expressed their interest.
