Zhongguancun companies steal the show at CES in Las Vegas
The 51st International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicked off in Las Vegas on Jan 9, attracting worldwide attention.
Zhongguancun-based companies, such as China's largest search engine Baidu, China's largest omnichannel retailer Suning, and electronic giant Hisense, brought their high-end technologies and products to the 180,000-square-feet exhibition hall.
Artificial intelligence, virtual reality, smart home, autopilot, robotics, smart vehicles, and drones became the focus of the annual show, which starts on Jan 9 and ends on Jan 12.
About 1,551 Chinese companies including Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, TCL, and Lenovo attended this year's show, accounting for more than one third of the total participants, said the organizer.
