The Annual Technology Conference and Awards Ceremony of ZOL was held in Beijing on Jan 23, discussing hot topics in science and technology industry.

ZOL.com, China's leading online technology media site, gave more than 300 awards to 15 types of technological products, from mobile and communication equipment, PCs and Tablet PCs, smart travel products, video products, audio equipment, and smart innovation devices to DIY accessories.

Gao Yingbing, general manager of ZOL.com, said that the greatest charm of the technology industry is its continuous upgrading and innovation of technology and products.

Gao said that the ZOL Awards have been organized for ten years and he noted that they "can help tech brands to develop and grow stronger and help users to buy the right products".

Hot topics, such as "5G technology will bring new growth points for global services" and "blockchain technology will have a real impact on people's lives in 2018", were discussed.

Chinese mobile phone producer OPPO said it will make a product combined with 5G that can really change users' lives and provide them with better experiences.

Certain mobile devices -- Huawei Mate 10 Pro, vivoX20, OPPOR11s, and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 -- were awarded with the Outstanding of its Kind Award.
