No 7 CapitalBio's respiratory testing system

Beijing-based biomedicine company, CapitalBio Technology, released a respiratory pathogens nucleic acid detection kit on Sept 8, designed for simultaneous, rapid and accurate detection of 13 respiratory pathogens.

It takes only 2 hours to finish the testing process on a patient's sputum, which is six to 240 times faster than traditional testing methods.

The detection employs isothermal amplification technology and works with CapitalBio's RTisochip Isothermal Nucleic Acid Amplification Microfluidic Chip Analyzer.
