Zheng Chengjun, a member of the standing committee of the CPC Beijing International Studies University (BISU) Committee and vice-president of the university, recently led a delegation to visit the Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC).
The delegation held discussions with Hu Yixiong, Party secretary and director of the BOTC, and Zeng Fulin, vice-director of the BOTC.

Zheng spoke of BISU's development, especially its internationalization efforts, emphasizing its goal to develop into a high-level foreign language university with a focus on cultural exchange, international and regional studies and the interpretation and international dissemination of Chinese civilization, which aligns with the goals of BOTC.
After reviewing the cooperation between the sides in recent years based on mutual visits and exchanges, foreign teacher recruitment, cultural activities and high-level forums, Zheng showed his gratitude to BOTC for its strong support of BISU in terms of foreign talents. He said he looked forward to further deepening cooperation between the two parties to jointly serve the innovative development of foreign talents in the capital.
Hu stressed the role of BOTC as an important platform for the introduction and services of overseas talents in Beijing, highlighting its efforts in launching the Zhongguancun International Talents Service Area, hosting activities for overseas talents, optimizing its services and supporting the work and entrepreneurship of overseas talents in Beijing.
He expressed his gratitude to BISU for its support and cooperation with BOTC, adding that he hoped that both parties would further strengthen communication and collaboration.
Accompanied by Zeng, Zheng also visited Zhongguancun Innoway to learn about its efforts in stimulating industrial innovation, linking global innovation resources and contributing to Beijing's development into an international science and technology innovation center.
