Daxing district has achieved great results in environmental promotion and living environment improvement in rural areas.

At Ligezhuang village of Lixian town, the village committee launched a greening mechanism that the village committee plants flowers and trees and villagers are responsible for their growth.

The village collectively purchases the flower seeds that are cold resistant and easy to cultivate, and plants them on both sides of the main roads of the village. Villagers are encouraged to water and weed the green plants around their houses daily.

Flowers can be seen in spring, summer and autumn in Ligezhuang village as the flowering period has been extended to the maximum length.

The environment improvement in Ligezhuang village has now been achieved through cleaning up dirt and mess, controlling pollution and adding greening.

Daxing district will strengthen the renovation and conscientiously implement long-term environment protection mechanisms to ensure the villages’ environmental promotion.
