Daxing is seeing signs of resumption amid its fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak.

Yinghai town of Daxing district in Beijing has made precise policies, provided guidance, and taken innovative measures to promote the comprehensive, orderly, active and effective resumption of work in various fields.

To hedge against the epidemic impact, Daxing continues to take more supportive measures to ensure the smooth and orderly resumption of work across the district.

For example, the district’s Yinghai town has drawn up a "customer flow distribution and diversion map" to avoid public aggregation in supermarkets. The Yinghai community branch of the Shou Hang Supermarket is the largest retail store of daily necessities in the western part of Yinghai town. According to the requirements, the maximum customer capacity of the store is 100 during the epidemic prevention. Since January 26, the supermarket has closed two entrances and exits and only kept one open. It also allocated staff at the entrance and exit to guide customers.

Yinghai town has also been actively exploring ways of resuming business in commercial outlets and formulated 14 epidemic prevention rules for them.

So far, 130 of the 256 commercial stores in the area of Yinghai town have opened with a resumption rate of 51 percent. They include 84 supermarkets and vegetable retail stores to ensure people's daily supplies.
