A dragon boat race kicked off in Beijing’s Daxing district on Sept 17.

Twenty teams from the district’s governmental departments and companies participated in the event, creating plenty of fun and enjoyment for the viewers.

The time-honored sport, beneficial for public fitness, is becoming more and more popular among local residents.
