New policies issued by the General Administration of Customs signal that non-bonded goods are allowed to enter the special customs supervision area in a non-declaration manner. After being assembled and distributed with bonded goods, they can leave the country for export or leave the area and return to the country.

The policy is based on enterprise credit management. Customs can make real-time queries of commodity inventory quantity, warehouse location and other information, greatly improving the operation efficiency of enterprises and reducing logistics costs.

Yao Zhenhai, president of the Tianjin Chengrong Technology Co, said: "the previous management model of multiple independent warehouses have been replaced by unified warehouse allocation, which has saved nearly 5,000 square meters of storage for our enterprise, and each container saves more than 1,000 yuan ($141.08).”

Since being put into use on April 25, the Daxing airport comprehensive bonded area has achieved an import and export volume of 230 million yuan.

At present, it is home to 85 registered enterprises, boasts about 130,000 square meters for public warehouses, multimodal warehouses, bonded intelligent logistics and warehousing centers.
