A charming landscape has been formed against the backdrop of red sorghum and the skyline of Yinghai, a township of Daxing district in Beijing, in recent weeks.

Since Sept 20, Wofeng Agricultural Technology Co, a farmland contractor in Yinghai, has been busy harvesting summer crops, including corn, sorghum and soybean, and commenced the planting of cole flowers and different species of wheat.

All plantation activities are scheduled to be completed by the middle of October.

Yinghai has attached great importance to the development of its urban sightseeing agriculture and fostered an array of new tourist destinations characterized with cole flowers, sunflowers and wheat over the past few years, injecting new vitality into its economic growth.
