Liangjiang enterprise secures spot on Global Unicorn Index 2025

Avatr Technology Co from Liangjiang New Area was included in the Global Unicorn Index 2025 unveiled on Dec 3.

Companies were required to meet several criteria: a valuation exceeding 7 billion yuan ($989.88 million), possession of original technology, a unique business model, and approximately 10 years since establishment.

The assessment cutoff date for the report was Sept 30, with valuations calculated in yuan. The release marks the seventh annual report on the development of the Global Unicorn Enterprises 500.

Avatr Technology is an original, intelligent, new luxury electric vehicle under Changan Automobile, utilizing the combined strengths of industry giants Huawei and CATL.

The company has launched four mass-produced models – Avatr 11, 12, 07, and 06 – as well as two limited editions – 011 and 012 – catering to a price range from 200,000 to 700,000 yuan.

Avatr plans to introduce 17 new models by 2030, targeting the sedan, SUV, and MPV segments. The company is also accelerating its global expansion strategy, aiming to enter over 80 countries and establish more than 700 channel outlets by 2030.
