Liangjiang New Area has launched China's first open source community dedicated to embodied intelligent robotics. The pioneering initiative also saw the unveiling of the Model Innovation Space.
The community unites key partners such as the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence, Galbot, and AgiBot. Industry leaders such as Changan, Seres, and Lifan Motors play crucial roles in developing applications and establishing industrial bases.
The community integrates six core functions, including intelligent computing and model-as-a-service platforms, to build a comprehensive open ecosystem. This ecosystem supports the entire robotics research and development chain, encompassing embodied training systems, intelligent computing resource scheduling, simulation engines, and algorithm optimization.
The ultimate aim is to build an industrial engine that forms a closed-loop ecosystem of technology, data, and business.
Model Innovation Space addresses critical challenges in AI industry development, including technological application gaps, computing power shortages, scenario disconnection, and weak ecosystems.
The AI cloud service platform, serving as the "digital brain" of the space, offers full-stack services from foundational computing power to upper-layer applications.
The platform will incubate and introduce high-quality AI applications tailored to local industries, spanning areas including intelligent manufacturing, smart cities and governance, and scientific research.
