Jiangsu displays development achievements and opportunities at China-Arab States Expo

East China’s Jiangsu province will highlight its development achievements and cooperation opportunities at the China-Arab States Expo opened in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on Sept 5 and will last until Sept 8.

Jiangsu launched exhibitions and activities at the expo that opened at the Zone C of the Yinchuan International Convention & Exhibition Center on Sept 5, themed on “Communication, innovation, opportunities and mutual benefit”.

The exhibition area consists of three parts, including a general introduction of Jiangsu province, a special exhibit of Suzhou city, and featured products display. The general introduction focused on the province’s cooperation, global logistics, international trade, technological innovation, and tourism.

There was a promotional meeting on investment and industrial park cooperation on Sept 5, when Suning Holdings Group’s companies signed contracts and held business negotiations.

So far, Jiangsu province has reached several agreements on co-construction of industrial parks with many cities of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, including Yinchuan and Shizuishan.

The province has also signed eleven investment contracts worth 11.93 billion yuan ($1.66 billion)with the autonomous region.

More than 24 farm products companies in the autonomous region have reached purchase agreements with six large buyers in Jiangsu and will advance the cooperation later.

In addition, Jiangsu will increase efforts in carrying out economic and trade cooperation projects with countries along the Belt and Road.
