China-Arab States Expo offers full 5G network coverage

The Fourth China-Arab States Expo opened at the Yinchuan International Convention and Exhibition Center, Yinchuan city, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on Sept 5 and will last until Sept 8.

The expo center’s exhibition areas will have full 5G network coverage during the event, ensuring the fastest Internet speed.

During the event, a 5G-enabled VR panorama and live broadcast service experience will be offered, allowing visitors to have a vivid understanding about the expo featuring technology-led innovation.

VR live combines virtual reality and live programming. It differs from conventional live shows for its features of panorama, 3D picture and interactions. Using this technology, viewers can see a view that changes along with their perspective. Real-time footage from the expo will be collected via 360-degree panorama cameras, and will be displayed via users’ VR glasses after image processing.

Participants will have a real-time view of the activities in all exhibition areas and forums at stalls set up in five designated hotels, four meeting rooms, and eight exhibition areas.

5G-supported VR live will provide viewers with an unmatched showroom experience thanks to 5G network’s broader bandwidth, greater access, and lower time delays. In addition to VR panorama experience, multi-media live and on-site projection services will be available. Visitors can also use a newly-launched 5G "He Bei Bao" product by China Mobile to watch live feeds on platforms such as cloud-based streaming sites, TV networks, live websites, and WeChat official accounts.    

The Fourth China-Arab States Expo will host exhibitions of Belt and Road innovation products, modern agriculture, hi-tech equipment, infrastructure and productivity cooperation, Internet-based healthcare industrial achievements, and industrial development and special products of Jiangsu province. Besides, the expo will have many multiple meetings, forums and business promotion activities.

Opening hours to professional participants are 12:00-17:30 on September 5 and 9:00-17:30 on September 6. Regular participants may access the expo from 9:00-17:30 on September 7 and 8.
