Re-entry module for Shenzhou spacecraft displayed at China-Arab States Expo
The fourth China-Arab States Expo, an important platform for collaboration between China and Belt and Road countries held in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, is exhibiting some remarkable cutting-edge technology and innovative products.
The expo opened on Sept 5 and will last until Sept 8.
Some real items of the China's manned space program are on display at the high technology and equipment exhibition area of the expo, to show China's achievements in manned space development.
Visitors are able to have a close-up look at the re-entry module of the Shenzhou spacecraft at Hall B in Yinchuan Convention & Exhibition, on Sept 5 to 8.
In 2016, the government of Ningxia Hui autonomous region reached a cooperation framework agreement with the China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSEO) on promotion of the industrialization of the technological achievements in the manned space industry.
The Shenzhou XI manned spacecraft and Tiangong-2 space spacecraft carried 39 kinds of seeds from Ningxia's six scientific institutions for scientific experiments.
The re-entry module and main parachute of Shenzhou XI are displayed at the expo and the spacesuit, space food and medicine are all designed and produced by China.
