Rural e-commerce store launched in Ningxia

A rural e-commerce store was launched on JD.com and Suning.com on Sept 5 at the Yinchuan Exhibition and Convention Center in Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
A total of 365 products including farm-produced food and wine, provided by 41 local enterprises are now available for online orders in the Ningxia-Produced Specialties Store.
It is said that developing rural e-commerce is one way of promoting supply-side structural reform as well as transforming the agricultural industry, while rural e-commerce is considered a key component of rural modernization.

Jointly established by the Ningxia agriculture administration and Alibaba, the Ningxia-Produced Specialties Store is receiving growing traffic and trade.
It is hoped the store will stimulate and promote Ningxia’s agricultural industry and increase farmers' incomes.
