Roller skating & shooting competition, the first summer event of the 14th National Winter Games, were held in Yakeshi, Hulunbuir, city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from July 27 to 29.
On the first day of the event, a team composed of athletes from Inner Mongolia and other places won gold for the women's 4×6 kilometer relay race, making them the first gold medal winners of the 14th National Winter Games.
Over 100 athletes from 11 provinces and cities from around the country participated in the event, which was the first official competition of the 14th National Winter Games.
