Spotlight shines on IP services at forum

The First SIPSA International Summit on IP Services – a sub-forum of the 17th Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum which opened on Oct 20 – was held in Shanghai on Oct 21.

With the theme of "New Era, New Economy, New Measures: Building IP Protection Forefront Through High-quality IP Services", the forum was organized by the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration – with the Shanghai Intellectual Property Services Association, or SIPSA, assisting.

Yu Lijuan, deputy secretary general of Shanghai municipal government, addressed the forum.

She said that IP services runs the gamut of IP creation, protection, applications and management and are important guarantees for promoting innovation and development.

Focusing on the theme of IP services, experts, academics and business representatives from interested fields at home and abroad shared their practical experiences and views on the latest trends in their respective industries with participants.
