Haolin Fruit Cooperative, founded in 2016 in Guojia village, Penglai district, has a registered capital of 15 million yuan ($2.25 million) as well as over 40 staff members.
The cooperative has standardized planting and marketing practices and has become a modern apple planting demonstration base, which promotes the application of advanced equipment and smart management.
Covering an area of more than 6,000 mu (400 hectares), the plantation produces more than 18,000 ton of apples annually and is a supplier for Shenzhen Pagoda Industrial Group, a well-known fruit vendor in China.
