The high-definition 4K boarding gate smart digital screen series developed and designed by JCDecaux Momentum Shanghai Airport Advertising Co., Ltd. was officially unveiled in the domestic departure of Hongqiao T2. Having obtained the national design patent and close on the heels of its first launch at Pudong Airport Satellite Hall, this series has now reached full coverage of the departure waiting areas for both Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai Pudong airports.

This outstanding range of advertising media is set up within the seating area of the boarding hall. While passengers on foot are greeted by a gallery of stunning brand movies, those who are seated can watch the eye-catching content on the huge 98-inch screen at close range.

In this media debut, SAMDecaux invited the new-generation digital media artist Timo Helgert to create naked-eye 3D content known as the "The Return of Nature", with the objective of rediscovering urban life and transforming the long and boring wait into an encounter with artistic inspiration.

The "The Return of Nature" CG (computer-generated) artwork features the famous buildings of Paris, Milan, and Shanghai as the themes. Passengers get to appreciate the white daisies of Paris in full bloom under the Eiffel Tower while being greeted by butterflies flapping their blue wings, or rejoice in the serenity and architectural marvels of Milan Cathedral amidst the lush greenery, or admire the Shanghai Bund nestled in the poetic townscape of tall buildings softened by meadow grass and a caressing breeze, as if bathing in the beauty of nature.

As SAMDecaux embarks on a journey of relentless digital innovations, it has always adhered to its original aspiration of bringing passengers a better airport experience, ingeniously integrating art and commerce to craft a unique airport cultural atmosphere.
