Signed by the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia and the China Association for Promoting UN Procurement (CAPUNP), the project is designed as a one-stop service platform for international public procurement based on the data of enterprise members of the CAPUNP.
The contracted parties will strengthen the sharing of global procurement and global health big data information resources. Focusing on the big health industry, the two sides will collect information on procurement categories, procurement countries, procurement institutions, procurement projects, Chinese suppliers, expert databases, and other data from the United Nations and international organizations and establish an analysis model through a big data platform to recommend business opportunity information and other AI services for platform users.
The two sides will also carry out training, discussion, and cooperation on industry standards, safety certification, listing approvals, and other projects related to health care, drugs, food, and safety issued by the United Nations.

More high-quality domestic enterprises will be selected and recommended to become registered suppliers of the United Nations procurement system through the project, said Wang Xunan, executive vice president of the CAPUNP.
According to Wang, the CAPUNP, founded in 2006, is a State Council-approved non-profit UN procurement promoting organization aiming to encourage the participation of Chinese enterprises in the UN procurement process while helping them utilize the UN's global network to open up to the world.
"The CAPUNP has helped about 10,000 Chinese enterprises register as UN suppliers, ranking second in the world. Sinopharm, Haier Biomedical, and other medicine giants are all our member enterprises," said Wang. "The CAPUNP has become an important bridge between governments, international organizations, and enterprises."
