Global health expo opens in Qingdao

Sun Jiye, vice-governor of Shandong, said that the expo, held amid repeated outbreaks of COVID-19 in the world, has gathered well-known enterprises in the medical and health field to present the most advanced medical health products and set up a platform for mutual learning.

Sun pointed out that the expo will promote better development of the medical and health care industry and contribute to deepening international cooperation in fighting the pandemic.

Zhao Haozhi, mayor of Qingdao, said that health is the foundation of social civilization and progress and the common pursuit of life for all people. 

"The expo's second edition will better grasp the new trends in the development of the health industry, better guarantee people's healthy lives, and also play an important role in deepening exchanges and cooperation among all parties," said Zhao.
