China Association of Medical Equipment boosts ties with Qingdao

The China Association of Medical Equipment has reached a strategic cooperation with the Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

According to a news conference held on June 3 during the second Conference of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, over the next five years, the association's conferences and forums, as well as the innovation industry transformation platform of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, will be launched in Qingdao.

The two sides will strengthen cooperation to form a technology-led, capital-assisted, enterprise-driven, and platform-supported development ecosystem to drive the high-quality development of Qingdao's medical care and health industries and promote the upgrading of Qingdao's medical equipment industry.

Founded in 1990, the China Association of Medical Equipment is composed of leaders and experts from national medical and health institutions and enterprises.

After 30 years of development, the association now has 1,698 group members and 39,380 individual members who are academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, academic leaders, well-known experts, scholars and enterprise leaders.

The Qingdao High-tech Zone, as the city's key biomedicine agglomeration area, has nearly 500 biomedicine enterprises and a number of innovation platforms.
