Ceramic Road

Meiqiu, an American ceramist, is obsessed with Badashanren and Shi Tao's works. He came to China and met the love of his life in Shenzhen due to their mutual interest in ceramics. They got married after they were reunited in Jingdezhen.

Meiqui hopes that his one-year old son can soon play in the small lanes where his grandfather and mother walked when they were children. He also hopes that his son can run on the blue-stone roads that were used to transport porcelain clay. The unique artistic texturequality and warmth of ceramics interweaves symbolically similar to the source of the ceramic road, which is simple and moving.
