Book Launch of Voices of Mankind with a Shared Fututre: 100 Years of Foreign Language Education under the Leadership of the CPC

On June 10, the High-End Forum on the Development of Foreign Language Education under the Leadership of the CPC was held together with the book launch of Voices of Mankind with a Shared Future: 100 Years of Foreign Language Education under the Leadership of the CPC.

The book's editors-in-chief are as follows: Mr. Wang Dinghua, Secretary of the CPC Committee of BFSU, and Mr. Yang Dan, both Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of BFSU, with co-editors comprising other experts and professors dedicated to the cause of foreign language education. The book consists of six chapters: the Path of Unremitting Efforts, the Rise of Foreign Language Teaching, the Vision of Foreign Language Universities, the Building of Academic Disciplines, the Quest of Leading Scholars and the Foundation of Human Civilization. With the 100th anniversary of the CPC as the linking thread, the book chronicles the century-long glorious journey of foreign language education under the leadership of the CPC. Highlighting the revolutionary spirit embodied in Chinese foreign language education while answering the call of the times, the book motivates foreign language professionals in the new era to forge ahead with concerted efforts. At the forum, Mr. Xu Jianzhong, the editor-in-chief of Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) introduced the editing and publication of the book.
