In Showroom No 1, brand-new "smart diagnosis and treatment" equipment grabbed visitors' attention.
"The equipment uses artificial intelligence and big data technology to build a database of ancient prescriptions, and its diagnosis and treatment can rival those of associate traditional Chinese physicians, " said a person in charge.
It is equipped with automated machines that can fill out prescriptions and decoct herbal medicine, which will save a lot of time for both doctors and patients, therefore providing customers with a better quality of services.
Due to the complexity and ambiguity of Chinese patented drugs, TCM treatment lacks some supporting data and still requires modern scientific language interpretation.
The set of facilities in Exhibition Hall No 2 were designed to answer questions about drug composition, discern active ingredients from toxic ingredients and the cooperative work of multiple ingredients.
Notably, guests will learn about the latest achievements in Chinese medicinal research.
Exhibits include the anti-malarial product artemisinin, developed by Nobel Prize winner Tu Youyou, and Cure 14, a Chinese patented medicine and prescription for COVID-19 patients, created by the first national anti-epidemic TCM medical team led by Huang Luqi.
