Mascot "Shuey Rhon Rhon(雪容融)"

The mascot of Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games Shuey Rhon Rhon. Snow represents white and beautiful, which are the characteristics of winter sports. Rhon Rhon (put together) conveys the concepts of cultural communication and harmonious development of the world, representing the willingness of creating a more inclusive world and building community of common destiny for all mankind by hosting the Paralympics. Shuey Rhon Rhon is embodied with Chinese cultural features. The design stems from Chinese lantern which has a history of more than 2,000 years. Lantern represents reward, joyous, warmth and brightness.

Beijing Paralympics include six sports, Wheelchair Curling, Para Ice Hockey, Para Biathlon, Para Cross-Country Skiing, Para Alpine Skiing and Para Snowboard. On Dec 31, 2020, the official pictograms of the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games were unveiled. The pictograms are in seal carving style, which perfectly combines winter sports and traditional Chinese culture. Between inches, numerous Games. The background color is like the red sky during dawns, implying the sunrise in the orient. It represents passion and hope, sets off a joyous atmosphere of the spring festival during which Beijing Winter Olympics will be hosted. 

Torch "Flying(飞扬)"

February 4 Beijing time marked the one-year countdown to Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. On that day, the torches named Flying for Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics were officially unveiled. The overall appearance of the torch echoes the shape of the cauldron at the opening ceremony of Beijing 2002 Olympics, which represents the inheritance and development of the concept of the "City of Double Olympics". The color of the torch for Beijing Winter Paralympics is the mix of silver and gold, which symbolizes glory and dream, embodying the Paralympic values of courage, determination, motivation and equality. "Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games" is engraved in Braille on the bottom of the torch.
