Water Resources Forum of the 5th China-Arab States Expo to hold in Yinchuan

On August 12, during a press conference,  the Water Resources Forum was announced to be held on August 18 in Yinchuan. 

Pan Jun, deputy director of the Ningxia Water Conservancy, said that the forum is one of the most important events of the 5th China-Arab States Expo.

Themed on "Digital Economy and Intensive, Economical, and Safe Use of Water Resources", it is the first session set to be held during the 5th China-Arab States Expo. 

The forum aims to disseminate China's water control concepts, promote international academic exchanges and cooperation in the field of water, present China's achievements in water conservation and digital water control, display China's cooperation with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative in regards to water resources, and to build a water affairs brand of international influence. 

Sudanese ambassador, heads of water-related international organizations and institutions such as the Arab Water Council and the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage, domestic and foreign well-known experts and scholars in the intensive, economical and safe use of water resources, and representatives of domestic scientific research institutes and digital water control incubators will participate in the event and make reports.

The forum is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Water Resources and the government of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, and organized by the department of Ningxia Water Conservancy.
