Torch relay for China’s 14th National Games held in Yulin
The torch relay for China's 14th National Games reached its fifth stop on Aug 24.
Starting at Century Square and ending at the Yuxi Pavilion, the journey covers a distance of 6.07 kilometers in the downtown area of Yulin city, Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
A total of 67 torchbearers were involved in the event, passing by landmarks and historical relics.

Yulin is known as the "Pearl north of the Great Wall" and is set to stage the boxing and men's volleyball competitions of the 14th National Games.
Driven by the games, Yulin has stepped up in its sporting efforts, especially in the construction of facilities, the promotion of public physical activities, the training of reserve athletic talents, and the popularization of sports culture.
Since 2018, the city has built and improved 35 stadiums and gymnasiums, creating a better fitness environment.
