Yinchuan is a northwestern city in Ningxia, so how does it raise and sell fish originally produced in the south?

High-quality lamb and beef are the major meat sources consumed by local people, but what if high-quality fresh water bass and pacific white shrimp became ordinary foods found in the local markets of Ningxia?

......

These questions couldn't be answered without a detailed discussion with Han Fanfan.

Han Fanfan, director of the Yinchuan Bureau of Science and Technology, once worked in the units directly under the ministries and commissions in China. She has joined the "Doctoral Service Corps" of the the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and has served as assistant to the director of Ningxia Department of Commerce, and is now working in Ningxia.

"In the autumn of 2020, I tasted pacific white shrimp in Ningxia, and they were delicious", Han said.

"We have supported and striven to make breakthroughs in several key industrial technologies, so that science and technology can help boost production."

Han was invited to give readers an intuitive understanding of the scientific and technological innovation in the high-quality development of the industry in Yinchuan, through her narrating her own experience.

The mechanisms for scientific and technological innovation and high-quality economic development were revealed. She expressed that exploring how scientific and technological innovation can improve the production efficiency of enterprises, promote the upgrading of industrial structures, as well as promote green innovation and satisfy the needs of people pursuing a better life, are reasons worth further researching and developing innovation.
