“We live a comfortable life in a clean house and I am hopeful for the future,” said Muhetaer Luoheman. The 29-year-old Xinjiang resident is responsible for managing agricultural machinery in a local company. He used to live on an unstable income doing odd jobs. After some upskilling, he now earns more than 100,000 yuan ($15,529) a year and is teaching five apprentices.
