Linping New City improves barrier-free services

In light of the upcoming Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, Linping New City in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, has been improving barrier-free services for people with disabilities, local media reported on Dec 14.
The local government has renovated over 40 pathways for visually-impaired people and installed signs with braille.
Digital technologies have also been adopted to provide sign language interpretation to visitors.
The city has also enhanced the training of civil servants and service staff to better help people with disabilities, said local authorities.
