Longwan recognized as provincial scenic city

The Wenzhou Culture Broadcasting and Tourism Bureau recently announced the winners of the 2021 Zhejiang provincial 3A-level scenic cities and scenic towns (townships, sub-districts) located in the city of Wenzhou, in East China's Zhejiang province.
Longwan district, one of the four urban districts of Wenzhou, managed to make it onto the list.
The title of scenic city is awarded to those areas with rich cultural deposits, a beautiful living environment, diversified leisure products, complete public services and a strong comprehensive management capability.
The Longwan district has paid a great deal of attention to building itself into a provincial 3A-level scenic city.
Leveraging advantages brought about by Longwan International Airport, a window to showcase Longwan's tourism was built. In addition – relying on the Wenzhou National High-tech Industrial Zone and Zhenan Technology City – tourism and scientific technologies were combined. The district also pushed ahead with plans to develop as a tourism distribution center, by virtue of the opportunities it has as a coastal traffic hub.
Focusing on a theme of "Castle between Mountain and Sea, A City of Future", Longwan is understood to be committed to creating a happy and vibrant new coastal city that is suitable for living, business and travel.
