Kangbashi rings in Lantern Festival with visual extravaganza

The Kangbashi district of Ordos city, located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, held a series of riotous fun activities on Feb 15 to celebrate the Lantern Festival.

The Lantern Festival is a traditional event for family reunions in China. It takes place on the first full moon of the new year, which falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month, according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar.

This year's celebration activity in Kangbashi included a float parade, an aerial drone lights show and a music fireworks spectacular, creating an electrifying festive atmosphere for the city.
